Invicta FC 9 Revisited

Last weekend we headed out to Davenport, Iowa for Invicta FC 9 for an action packed night of ladies fights. Although our friend and sponsored fighter Nicdali "The Night Queen" Rivera-Calanoc did not come away with the victory and has retired from MMA at the moment we are super proud of her and glad we could make the trip to cheer her on. Fight Results:

-Barb Honchak defeated Takayo Hashi via unanimous decision (49-46, 50-45, 50-45) to retain the Invicta flyweight title.
-Karolina Kowalkiewicz defeated Mizuki Inoue via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28).
-Raquel Pa’aluhi defeated Kaitlin Young via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
-Jodie Esquibel defeated Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
-Amber Brown defeated Liz McCarthy via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27).
-Amanda Bell defeated Maria Hougaard Djursaa via TKO (punches) at 4:56 of round 1.
-Andrea K. Lee defeated Shannon Sinn via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
-Jamie Moyle defeated Jenny Liou via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
