Keep on reading below to find out what else we learned about our February 2013 MMA babe of the month Sierra Rene.

How did you get into the world of MMA?

-I was first introduced as a ring girl, which was supposed to be temporary but I loved it so much I wanted to make it more permanent.

What were you doing before you became an MMA model and ring girl?

-I was in school for architectural engineering with an idea of designing the world’s greatest mall.

Who is your favorite MMA fighter?

-Anderson Silva is my favorite.

What is the sweetest comment an MMA fan has said to you?

-The sweetest thing someone has said is the people in your life are lucky to have you there.

What would your fight name be if you were a fighter? Sierra “?” Rene

-I’ve actually thought about this a couple times and I think it would be, Sierra “Lightning Strike” Rene. I think it’s very funny.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

-My favorite food ever is raw oysters. Yum!!

What are your hobbies and how do you spend your free time?

-My hobbies are designing my own swimsuits, painting, alchemy and working out.

Are you single?

-I am single.

What do you look for in a guy?

-I look for a great sense of humor first, then chivalry. Those two things together are rare qualities for me to find in a man.

What are your turn-ons?

-Turn-ons are guys who show that they have ambitions and goals. I like a dominant type that has a soft side. Body parts I would have to say hands turn me on because they have to touch me, and no woman wants rough hands on them.

What are your turnoffs?

-My turnoffs are when someone is too clingy, bad breath and smoking.

What would you say is your best feature?

-My best feature I would say is my smile and kisses. I feel that my smile is a good one because most of the time I’m so happy I’m just laughing all of the time.

What are your future plans or dreams in life?

-My dream is to be a successful commercial model, and then finish my passion for design by building many different kinds of custom houses.

Any special shout outs or thank you’s?

-I just want to thank everyone that supports me and my passion.

Thank you very much for your time Sierra and glad to have you back on Babes of MMA. Fighter Babe Jennifer Scott Returns to the Cage this Friday

Fighter babe Jennifer “Superstar” Scott (2-2) returns to the cage to tangle with Lauren Taylor (4-0) this Friday at Legacy Fights 18 in Houston, TX at the Arena Theatre. After a long awaited return to MMA we recently caught up with Jennifer for the interview below.

How did you get involved in MMA and how long have you been training?

-I originally started boxing as a form of fitness to compete in Hawaiian Tropic bikini competitions. I made my way thru the amateur circuit, then turned pro and eventually made the transition to MMA. I’ve been training MMA for four years.

Where are you currently training, and what's a typical training week like for you?

-I train at 4oz Fight Club. I train six days a week. I run to the gym in the morning to get my 2-3 hour workout in then I run home, rest then repeat at least three evenings a week.

Tell us about your upcoming fight, who you're fighting and where?

-I am fighting Lauren Taylor at Legacy Fights 18 on March 1st at the Arena Theatre in Houston, TX.

What is your best experience as a fighter? What is your worst?

-Best experience I have had as a fighter, having a young girl come up to me and tell me, “I love when you come to the gym and I watch you. I want to fight just like you.”

-Worst Experience, weight cut is never fun.

What advice would you give to other women who are reading this interview and want to get started in MMA?

-Do it because you have a love and passion for it. You will have to torture your body and do things you never thought you physically could. So don’t quit on yourself, pain is temporary, success lasts forever.

What are some of the hurdles that you think Women in MMA need to overcome before Women's MMA will be considered a top level sport like Men's MMA is today?

-I think the women that want to fight need to do just that, FIGHT. You want to involve yourself in a professional sport you need to treat it that way from day one. Become more reliable and stop with all the pulling out of fights.

What or who are your inspirations in MMA and life?

-Inspiration in my life, of course all my coaches and team members. My dad RIP, instilled what it takes to train and be a successful athlete in me at a young age and most importantly my son, everything I do I do it for him and when I feel like quitting I just remember he’s right there watching.

Who are your favorite MMA fighters?

-Anderson Silvia and Jon Jones, if I could mimic a style it would be theirs.

How do you enjoy your free time when not training or fighting?

-I’m definitely an adrenalin junkie, riding motorcycles, sky diving, and I love being by the water.

Of course we have a few questions for the male readership as well.

Are you single?

-Yes.

What do you look for in a guy?

-I want a guy to watch movies with, eat fattening food, and then go to the gym in the morning. Someone that likes going to dinners and concerts and not worrying about going clubbing on the weekends. I love tattoos, a fan of sports cars, shredded and sexy. Is that too much to ask for? Lol

What are your turn-ons?

-A man that knows how to treat a lady like a princess no matter how tough she is. A great smile and nice shredded abs.

What are your turnoffs?

-People that are lazy and have no motivation, you got to be able to KEEP UP!

What would you say is your best feature?

-Physically my smile. In general, my personality and just overall outlook on life.

Any future plans or dreams?

-To be world champion in both MMA and boxing. Other than fight life, since I went to dental assisting school, to have my own custom mouth piece brand.

Any shout outs you would like to make?

-Of course to my trainer and team members at 4oz Fight Club I wouldn’t be where I am without them and my sponsors, St. Michaels Emergency, Arm Bar Submission, My Fight Shop, B3 Sports Management and that list just keeps growing every day.

Thank you for your time, glad to see you back in the cage and good luck on fight night Jennifer! For more on fighter babe Jennifer Scott visit her on Facebook, TwitterInstagram and Google Plus.

Fighter Babe Alexis Delderfield Returns to the Cage this Friday

Fighter babe Alexis Delderfield returns to the cage this Friday to battle it out with Ginger Velasco at Fight Card Entertainment 48 in Cicero, IL. We recently caught up with our local fighter prior to her fight this Friday.

How did you get involved in MMA and how long have you been training?

-My involvement came from my then co-worker and my now teammate, Tony Ortiz. I had attended one of his fights two years ago and I witnessed a women's bout. That is when I fell in love with the sport. To date, I have been training a bit over a year and a half.

Where are you currently training, and what's a typical training week like for you?

-I currently train at KA Fitness/Karate Academy located in Elmwood Park - Chicagoland area. A training week for me involves six days of two-a-day work outs. Training includes everything and anything ranging from High Intensity Interval Training, to lifting and sparring. I also instruct a women's kickboxing class so that is the time I perfect my technique the most.

Tell us about your upcoming fight, who you're fighting and where?

-On March 1st I will be fighting Ginger "Snaps" Velaso from Team No Comment. Our fight will be a Muay Thai match held at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, IL on the Fight Card Entertainment 48 fight card.

What is your best experience as a fighter? What is your worst?

-My best experience as a fighter had to have been the first initial feeling I felt when I was locked in the cage for the first time. The crowd and the adrenaline are unexplainable.

-My worst would have to be my loss in Muay Thai against No Comment's, Jessica Heuer. I had all the right tools to win the fight; I just didn't apply myself the way I trained.

What advice would you give to other women who are reading this interview and want to get started in MMA?

-Don't be afraid to get in there with the guys. Being the only girl fighter at my gym for a while, (luckily, there are two new girls up and coming at my gym) I had to train like one of the boys. The biggest things we girls concern ourselves with are our face and looks, but you can't be scared to take a hit.

What or who are your inspirations in MMA and life?

-My biggest inspiration in fighting is my coaches and my team. Without my coaches, I would not be the woman I am today both endurance and confidence-wise. And without my team, I would not have the support that has carried me as far as I am today. In life, I'm inspired by those who succeed and do exceedingly well in their profession. Success is the key to everything.

Who are your favorite MMA fighters?

-Invicta's Joanne Calderwood and of course, the face of women's MMA - Ronda Rousey.

How do you enjoy your free time when not training or fighting?

-When I'm not training, I am spending my time either working at Starbucks or studying at school. I'm not that exciting of a person, haha.

Of course we have a few questions for the male readership as well.

Are you single?

-Sorry boys, I am not.

What do you look for in a guy?

-Intelligence, good sense of humor, loving personality and someone who doesn't mind that I fight.

What are your turn-ons?

-Definitely intelligence. Not to sound too exceedingly cocky, but I'm a smart person myself and knowledge is power, and power is sexy.

What are your turnoffs?

-Ignorance and someone who can't handle a joke.

What would you say is your best feature?

-My thighs, all muscle baby! And my red hair.

Any future plans or dreams?

-I am currently a Pre-Med/Neuroscience student and my future plan is to head to medical school in the next couple years and pursue my dreams of being a neurosurgeon.

Any shout outs you would like to make?

-I'd like to give a shout out to not only my team, Team 110 for helping me get ready for my fight, but a shout out to my best friend Jessica - thank you for putting up with all the shit I put you through when I'm cutting weight.

Thank you for your time Alexis and can’t wait to see you fight live this Friday night! For more on Alexis stop by her Twitter page and say hello.

Meet MMA Stunner Melissa Riso

Say hello to MMA stunner Melissa Riso! This 26 year old knockout is 5’1”, 100 lbs, measures 34C-24-34 and calls Los Angeles, CA home. We are lucky to have such a beauty in this world. When Melissa was younger she almost died in a car accident. The accident and following surgery left her with a scar on her stomach which ultimately became an insecurity she covered with a tattoo. From deep within she overcame this, started out as an actress and model on the local scene, then moved to the big lights of Los Angeles for bigger opportunities and now motivated to follow her dreams including a role as a James Bond girl!

Melissa has been featured in MMA Sports Magazine and was also a ring girl for Team Dazzle which graced the cage for boxing matches throughout the state of California. Her favorite MMA fighter over the past year was Daniel Cormier. I don’t think it will be long before the MMA world takes notice of this beauty and we see more of her soon.

Outside the world of MMA Melissa is a bikini, lingerie and promotional model, a hair stylist and an actress. Melissa has landed the cover of twelve prominent magazines as a model and has worked with the likes of Maxim Magazine, Hooters, Budweiser, Patron, T.I.T.S. Brand, Low Rider Magazine, Ed Hardy Fashion Show and countless others. Check out her work as a hair stylist at BeautyByMel.com which she has been doing for over eight years now as well. If that’s not enough Melissa also finds time as an actress appearing in commercials, music videos and short films some of which you can find on her website.
