This past December the UFC created their Women's strawweight division with the signing of Alex Chambers (4-1), Bec Rawlings (5-3), Carla Esparza (9-2), Emily Peters Kagan (3-1), Felice Herrig (9-5), Joanne Calderwood (8-0), Rose Namajunas (2-1) and Tecia Torres (4-0) who will all compete in TUF 20 along with Claudia Gadelha (11-0), Juliana Lima (6-1) and Paige VanZant (3-1) who were signed by the UFC but will not take part in TUF 20.
This past April, 36 hopeful ladies tried out for the remaining eight spots for TUF 20 and this Thursday those eight were finally revealed to the public. Joining the original eight and completing the cast of TUF 20 are Aisling Daly (14-5), Angela Hill (1-0), Angela Magana (11-6), Heather Jo Clark (6-4), Jessica Penne (11-2), Justine Kish (4-0), Lisa Ellis (15-8) and Randa Markos (4-1).
