Invicta FC 7 Revisited

Last Saturday the ladies took center stage in the MMA world for Invicta FC 7 at the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Missouri. Congratulations to all the ladies on another night of great fights and we are especially proud of our sponsored fighter Tecia Torres who came to make a statement and left with a dominating victory and a top five ranking. Invicta FC 7 Fight Results:

-Champ Barb Honchak defeated Leslie Smith via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46) to retain the Invicta flyweight title.
-Lauren Murphy defeated Miriam Nakamoto via TKO (knee injury) at 0:23 of round 4 to become the inaugural Invicta bantamweight champion.
-Tecia Torres defeated Felice Herrig via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
-Joanne Calderwood defeated Katja Kankaanpaa via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
-Julia Budd defeated Charmaine Tweet via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
-Vanessa Porto defeated Zoila Frausto Gurgel via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).
-Tonya Evinger defeated Sarah D’Alelio via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
-Nina Ansaroff defeated Munah Holland via TKO at 3:54 of round 2.

*Claudia Gadelha was forced to pull out of her title fight against Carla Esparza due to a bacterial infection.
