The Day the Ladies Took Over, Tate vs. Rousey!

It's been a little over two weeks since the aftermath of Strikeforce Tate vs. Rousey but I can still vividly recall most of this crazy awesome weekend. This was the day the ladies took over a major fight card. Not only was the event headlined by a great ladies title fight between Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey but we also got to see the under card headlined by Alexis Davis and Sarah Kaufman which turned out to be fight of the night. When the likes of Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta take notice you know women's MMA is headed in the right direction and here to stay one way or another. Check out the rest of our pictures from day one, day two as well as a few favorites from our friends at MMA Recap. Thank you Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey, Alexis Davis and Sarah Kaufman for a weekend many will never forget, some amazing fights and making a strong statement for women's MMA!

Tate vs Rousey: Let's Get it On!

What could be the biggest fight in WMMA history goes down tonight in Columbus, OH! Strikeforce women's bantamweight world champion Miesha Tate defends her belt against Judo Olympian Ronda Rousey. Don't forget to catch a great undercard matchup between Alexis Davis and Sarah Kaufman as well. Great job by Showtime Sports and Strikeforce on the video and great pictures seen above. Super excited to see this live and be a part of history!

Babes of Strikeforce Fedor vs. Henderson

I know we are late on this feature but better late than never.  Strikeforce came to the Chicagoland area at the end of July and it was a weekend to remember.  A list of MMA babes that included Miesha Tate and her mother Michelle, Marloes Coenen, Alexis Davis, Julie Kedzie, Tracy Lee, Rachelle Leah, Jessica Philippus, Nicdali Calanoc, Felice Herrig, Zoila Gurgel, Elisabeth Nuesser, Sarah Kaufman and the Strikeforce ring girls had us thinking we were dreaming.  An exciting night of fights included the crowning of a new champion, Miesha Tate! Congrats again Miesha!  Check out our Facebook album from the weigh-ins and post weigh-in dinner which includes our own pictures, a couple from Miesha's team and a few from the lovely Tracy Lee.  Be sure to check out our event album as well including pictures from us, Miesha and Strikeforce.
