Meet Martial Arts Babe Angela Pearcy

Watch out MMA world here comes Angela Pearcy from Nashville, TN. Angela is a 5'7", 24 year old martial artist, model, dancer, accountant and cosmetologist ready to rock the MMA world. Originally from Illinois Angela started Taekwondo as a four year old and achieved her first degree black belt by 7, the youngest black belt in central Illinois history. Fighting and training with older kids, adults and mostly boys toughened Angela up which has led to a decorated martial arts career. She has seven Illinois state titles in forms, weapons, and sparring competitions. She has finished fourth in the world twice and also finished second in the world for sparring in 2007. Angela has recently turned her attention to modeling and dancing including music videos, print ads, being a finalist for the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders and the Nashville Predators. In Angela's words, "I would absolutely love to have the opportunity to become an Octagon girl for the UFC. It would definitely be mixing both of my passions: Martial arts and Modeling."

How did you get into the world of MMA?
-I started Taekwondo when I was 4 years old because I loved “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. I started competing shortly after I started and I fell in love with the sport right away. I competed for 18 years and enjoyed every moment of it. Now, I am pursuing modeling and dancing, and being a MMA girl is the best of both of my worlds.

Who is your favorite MMA fighter?
-Matt Hughes. We actually grew up in small towns that are only an hour apart in Illinois.

What are your hobbies?
-Dancing, camping, boating, fishing, traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

Are you single?
-Yes

What do you look for in a guy?
-First and foremost, he has to put God first in his life. He needs to take good care of himself and be in touch with reality.

What are your turn-ons?
-I love a good smile and great eyes!

What are your turnoffs?
-A smoker or drinker.

What would you say is your best feature?
-I’d have to say my eyes.

What are your future plans or dreams in life?
-I would like to be a part of a professional dance team, an octagon girl, and go to school to become a Psychologist. Other than things that are career oriented, I would like to skydive and zip line. I’ve gotta have my adrenaline rush!
